EU4BusinessRecovery - For a strong domestic economy: "Covid-19 - Business Information Hub"

The “Covid-19 – Business Information Hub” project, implemented by the FBiH Chamber of Commerce, is being realized within the wider EU4BusinessRecovery project, financed by the European Union and the government of FR Germany.

The goal of the project is to alleviate the consequences caused by the pandemic, to provide support to small and medium-sized enterprises primarily from the wood and metal sector, but also to all other sectors in the recovery process, while strengthening their competencies.

“Covid-19 Business Information Hub” is based on the Help Desk platform ( www.bizhub.ba ) which consists of several modules (e-regulation, e-consultation, e-finance, e-learning, e-networking). The e-regulation module gathers current information on economic trends caused by the corona virus pandemic and the global economic crisis in one place, paying particular attention to border crossing conditions, which is extremely important for businessmen. The module also follows current legal regulations. The e-counseling module will provide micro, small and medium-sized enterprises from the wood and metal sector with free analysis, advisory and legal services. Through the e-learning and networking module, micro, small and medium-sized enterprises will have the opportunity to improve their knowledge and skills on various topics necessary for doing business under the umbrella of the “new normal”, as well as the opportunity to hold online B2B meetings and network with potential partners and suppliers. . Current information on public calls from domestic and international donors, government institutions, and banks will be available through the e-finance module.

The EU4BusinessRecovery project supports micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in Bosnia and Herzegovina to continue doing business and preserve jobs, and will especially support female entrepreneurs, young people and other vulnerable groups in establishing their own businesses and in overcoming the negative impact of the Covid-19 pandemic by creating a more resilient business environment.

The total value of the project is 13.7 million euros, and it is jointly financed by the European Union (13 million euros) and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany (0.7 million euros). EU4BusinessRecovery is jointly implemented by GIZ, ILO and UNDP, from 2021 to 2023. For more information, visit www.eu4business.ba.
