Created application: Fast service and direct communication with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH is provided to businessmen
Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina for Multilateral Affairs Šejla Đurbuzović and Deputy Resident Representative of UNDP in Bosnia and Herzegovina Stephen Kinloch Pichat addressed the press conference on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, on the occasion of the start of the internet application “Economic Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina”. .
Assistant Minister Đurbuzović pointed out that the goal of this project is to improve the quality of services of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the field of economic diplomacy. She added that an internet application was created in this sense, which should enable businessmen from Bosnia and Herzegovina to have quick service and direct communication with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina. She expressed her gratitude to the United Nations Development Program in Bosnia and Herzegovina (UNDP) for the excellent cooperation and support for this project of digitalization of the economic diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
She assessed that this application introduces key and important changes in terms of the process of digitization and transformation of the work of economic diplomacy of the BiH headquarters and diplomatic network, i.e. more transparent work of economic diplomacy and greater accessibility to BiH companies. She invited businessmen from Bosnia and Herzegovina to register on the application and use the services of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The deputy resident representative of UNDP in Bosnia and Herzegovina emphasized the importance of this project. He expressed satisfaction that UNDP supported the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina in its efforts to improve and increase the efficiency of work in the field of economic diplomacy and international trade, which is certainly one of the most important pillars of any economy. He expressed the hope that this project will lay the basis for direct support to international economic cooperation of BiH in order to reduce trade barriers, increase business on international markets and support diplomatic missions of BiH in monitoring, reporting and advising on economic policies and opportunities in other countries.
Then the application “Economic Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina” was officially introduced and presented by the head of the Department for Economic Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Tanja Milašinović Martinović.
