DECISION ON THE ALLOCATION OF FUNDS TO THE SOLIDARITY FUND OF THE FEDERATION OF BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA FOR THE YEAR 2023

I.

In order to secure federal solidarity funds, for the financing of priority vertical health care programs of interest to the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and for the provision of priority, the most complex forms of health care from certain specialist activities on the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, to the solidarity fund of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in 2023 . year, 10.2% of the total income generated on the basis of contributions for mandatory health insurance will be allocated.

II.

Contributions for compulsory health insurance are paid to the accounts of the health insurance institute of the canton and to the account of the Institute of Health Insurance and Reinsurance of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the payment of allocated funds of the solidarity fund determined by the Rulebook on the method of payment, belonging and distribution of public revenues in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (“Official newspaper of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina”, No. 54/20, 55/20-issues 63/20, 88/20, 28/21, 56/21, 83/21, 1/22, 34/22, 57/22, 76 /22, 93/22 and 94/22), at current rates, and are directed in the following ratio, namely:

a) 89.8% to the prescribed accounts of the health insurance institute of the canton,
b) 10.2% to the prescribed account of allocated funds of the solidarity fund of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina of the Health Insurance and Reinsurance Institute of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

III.

The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will inform the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina about this decision, within 15 days from the date of adoption of this decision in accordance with Article 82, paragraph (4) of the Law on Health Insurance (“Official Gazette of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina”, Nos. 30/97, 7/02, 70/08, 48/11, 36/18 and 61/22).

IV.

This decision enters into force on the following day from the date of its publication in the “Official Gazette of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina”, and will be applied for the year 2023.
