Guided by a vision of the future, these are the impressions from the second and third day of the 11th international supplier fair of the Volkswagen company (IZB2022), at which the Chamber of Commerce and Industry FBIH is exhibiting with four other companies from the metal sector, specializing in the automotive industry, and : CORE d.o.o. Sarajevo, GS-TM Travnik, TMD Group d.o.o. Gradačac and WAGNER Automotiv Gradačac.
During these two days, companies from Bosnia and Herzegovina, in addition to the exhibition part of the program, had the opportunity to see numerous achievements, innovations, but also the focus of the future development of the automotive industry, which is focused on electrification, smart services, sustainability, production and industry 4.0, cyber-security and supply chain sustainability.

The exhibition space of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry FBIH recorded numerous interests and visits, where one of the most significant was the visit of representatives of WOB AG and Volkswagen AG, during which exhibitors from Bosnia and Herzegovina had a kind of direct opportunity to present their products and services in the best light. Also, the second and third days of the fair were marked by numerous direct meetings of Bosnian representatives with potential customers, suppliers, and competitors, which resulted in constructive discussions, new innovative solutions, and ways to improve existing production, optimize it, and reduce costs.
At the invitation of the organizers of the IZB2022 fair, the president of the FBiH Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Mirsad Jašarspahić and Mr. Armin Hodžić, coordinator of the FBIH automotive industry development project, attended a specially prepared presentation of Volkswagen’s procurement sector, and on that occasion work plans and requirements that will be placed before existing and future suppliers were presented. Also, VW representatives are determined to provide wholehearted support to their suppliers so that both parties are satisfied in the long term. Special attention in the coming period will be devoted to supplier chains, and in the midst of general digitization, to data protection.
The majority commitment of the exhibitors is a sustainable future and reduced CO2 emissions in production processes, which is also one of the new tasks and challenges for companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
During their stay in the City of Wolfsburg, the FBIH Chamber of Commerce organized for representatives of Bosnian companies a visit to the office that the Automotive Industry Group under the PKFBIH contract uses in the Innovation Center at WOB AG.
The visit was organized with the aim of informing about all the possibilities and available equipment and infrastructure that the companies have there.

By exhibiting at the IZB2022 fair, the FBIH Chamber of Commerce and Industry, together with the companies: CORE d.o.o. Sarajevo, GS-TM Travnik, TMD Group d.o.o. Gradačac and WAGNER Automotiv Gradačac presented Bosnia and Herzegovina with all its potential and advantages for investment and visit.
