Exports from BiH jumped by 37.5 percent

In the period January-July 2022, exports from Bosnia and Herzegovina amounted to 10 billion and 548 million KM, which is 37.5 percent more than in the same period in 2021.
Imports amounted to 16 billion and 174 million KM, which is 40.2 percent more than in the same period last year.

Coverage of imports by exports amounted to 65.2 percent, while the foreign trade merchandise deficit amounted to 5 billion and 625 million KM.

Exports to CEFTA countries amounted to 1 billion and 942 million KM, which is 60.7 percent more than in the same period in 2021, while imports amounted to 1 billion and 953 million KM (an increase of 33.5 percent). Coverage of imports by exports was 99.4 percent.

Exports to EU countries amounted to 7 billion and 822 million KM (+36.9 percent), while imports amounted to 9 billion and 117 million KM, which is 31.1 percent more than in the same period of the previous year. Coverage of imports by exports amounted to 85.8 percent.
