Incentives for the purchase of electric vehicles for 32 users for the second quarter

Incentives for the purchase of electric vehicles for 32 users for the second quarter

Today, the FBiH Government, on the proposal of the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry, passed a Decision approving incentives for 32 users for the purchase of electric cars, in the total amount of 185,000 KM. It is about the allocation of subsidies for the second quarter of this year, which covered the period from September 1 to December 12.

This election was made after the Public Call for the Program for Spending Funds of Current Transfers to Individuals, which was open from June 3rd to December 12th of this year, that is, until the available financial resources are used up.

Let us remind you that the purpose of the Program adopted by the Federal Government on May 19 of this year is to subsidize the purchase of new cars registered in the FBiH, which have an exclusively electric drive (electric cars) and cars that, in addition to the internal combustion engine, are powered by an electric drive (hybrid cars), in this year. By the way, for the first quarter, that is, the period from June 3 to August 31 this year, 33 beneficiaries met the conditions for obtaining these incentives, for which the Government of FBiH previously approved 175,000 KM.

As today’s decision was explained by the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry, the Commission for the Selection of Applications noted that for the second quarter, a total of 34 requests were received for the Public Call, two of which did not meet the criteria from the Program and the Public Call.

The amount awarded for electric cars is 10,000 KM, and for hybrid electric “plug-in” and hybrid “full hybrid” cars is 5,000 KM. With today’s decision, which refers to the second quarter, 5,000 KM was approved for 27 selected users for the purchase of “plug-in” and “full hybrid” cars, and 10,000 KM for five of them who applied for electric cars.

The Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry will enter into contracts with beneficiaries on the allocation of incentives, with defined rights and obligations. After the concluded contracts, the funds will be paid into the user’s account. The Federal Ministries of Energy, Mining and Industry, and Finance are responsible for the implementation of this decision, each within their jurisdiction.

The Decision will be published in the Official Gazette of the Federation, and the list of beneficiaries, which is an integral part of the Decision, on the website of the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry.
