Invitation to free training of small and medium-sized enterprises from the agricultural and food sector on the topic:
Improving health and safety at work (including COVID-19 measures)

Chamber of Commerce of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina within the EU4BusinessRecovery project
which implements the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) with the financial support of the European Union and
Government of the Federal Republic of Germany, invites small and medium-sized enterprises from the agricultural and food sector
sector to a free education on the topic of Occupational Safety and Health, which will be held on March 7, 2023.
in Sarajevo, in the premises of the Chamber of Commerce of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina
Herzegovina (Velika sala, ground floor), at Branislava Đurđeva 10, 71000 Sarajevo.

The central topic of the training is familiarization with the provisions and new obligations of the MSP upon entry into force
of the new Law on labor protection in the FBiH and accompanying by-laws. The above implies a sequence
activities for business entities that need to be adequately applied in order to fulfill their obligations in
application of regulations in the field of labor protection in accordance with legal and by-laws.
Registered participants, apart from the Legal Framework of Protection and Safety at Work, will have a unique opportunity
learn more about the topics: Requirements in the implementation of the ISO standard 45001:2018, ISO 45001 in
food industry, general protection measures in the agricultural and food sector, and measures
protection during installation, operation and maintenance of photovoltaic plants on the roofs of commercial buildings in
agricultural and food sector.
Additionally, on this occasion, UNDP representatives will present the Guidelines for the improvement of protection and security
at work (including COVID-19 measures) in the agri-food sector published within the project
EU4BusinessRecovery
The realization of the EU4BusinessRecovery project aims to support the modernization of agricultural
food sector and improving the rural economy. The main goal is to ensure the survival of micro, small and
of medium-sized enterprises in important economic sectors of Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to reduce the negative ones
effects caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. EU4BusinessRecovery makes an important economic and social contribution
in the areas of hygiene and safety at work, workplace safety, and product innovation and digitalization.
The project is financed by the European Union and the Federal Republic of Germany, and is implemented by the Development Program
of the United Nations (UNDP) in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) in partnership with Deutsche Gesellschaft für
Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and the International Labor Organization (ILO).
