The FBiH trade deficit in December was almost 800 million KM

The trade deficit of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in December last year amounted to 793,599,000 KM, while the coverage of imports by exports was 54.3 percent, the Federal Bureau of Statistics announced.
Exports of the FBiH in December amounted to 942,639,000 KM, which is 5.8 percent less compared to the previous month, and one percent less than the same month in 2021, while imports amounted to 1,736,238,000 KM, which is more by 1.1 percent compared to November 2022, and more by 16 percent compared to December 2021.

The highest value of exports of 844,835,000 KM was realized in the processing industry, which is 89.6 percent of total exports, and the highest value of imports of 1,569,838,000 KM was also realized in the processing industry, which is 90.4 percent of total imports.

From the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in December last year, the most exports were to Germany – 15.4 percent of total exports, followed by 14.5 percent to Croatia, and 12.1 percent to Serbia, while exports to other countries amounted to 57.9 percent of total exports.

Most was imported from Italy – 12.3 percent of total imports, followed by 11.4 percent from Germany, and 9.8 percent from Croatia, while imports from other countries amounted to 66.6 percent of total imports.
