Tuzla Canton: Simplified procedures for installing solar panels
The Assembly of the Tuzla Canton adopted the Initiative of the City of Živinica to amend the Law on Spatial Planning and Construction of the Tuzla Canton, which enables the installation of solar panels without the obligation to obtain a building permit, urban consent, or location information.
The adopted amendment to the aforementioned Law enables all citizens, both in the City of Živinica and in the entire Tuzla Canton, to install solar panels with simplified procedures.
The reason for this kind of legal intervention is that due to rising energy prices and increasing energy efficiency, an increasing number of businessmen and citizens want to install solar panels on their buildings and produce energy for their own needs.
This is particularly important and urgent in a situation where all energy sources are increasing in price, and new price increases are being announced, so there is increasing pressure from citizens and businessmen in the direction of simplifying the procedures for installing solar panels.
An increasing number of entities want to install solar panels on their facilities and start producing energy for their own needs in order to lower energy costs and thus preserve their economic and social status or competitive position when it comes to business entities.
The adoption of this law enables the installation of solar panels, i.e. the development of the use of renewable energy sources and the increasingly active role of citizens and businessmen in the development of civil energy, as a basic prerequisite for democracy in the energy sector and the development of sustainable energy supply systems, which are increasingly being used in our country. and in the world they rely on buyer-producers.
