Industry turnover in December decreased by 1.7 percent

The total deseasonalized turnover of the industry in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in December last year was 1.7 percent lower than in November.

On the domestic market, there was a decrease in turnover of 0.8 percent, and on the foreign market of 2.4 percent, the Federal Bureau of Statistics announced.

Last December, compared to the same month in 2021, industrial turnover in the FBiH, calendar adjusted, was 8.4 percent higher.

A 9.5 percent growth was recorded on the domestic market, and 7.6 percent on the foreign market.

The total turnover of energy in December last year was lower by seven percent compared to November, of capital products by 3.7 percent, of non-durable consumer goods by 2.4 percent, of durable consumer goods by 0.5 percent, and of intermediate products by 0.2 percent.

In December last year, compared to the same month of the previous year, the total turnover of capital products was higher by 28.4 percent, non-durable consumer goods by 14.7 percent, intermediate products by 11.8 percent, while the turnover of energy was lower by 30, 1 percent, and consumer durables by 1.3 percent.
