The goal of organizing trade fair activities is to bring Bosnian companies to international fairs, in order to present them to global companies, network and thus increase their competitiveness.

As BiH is traditionally known for its metal industry, with a special focus on the automotive industry as part of the metal industry, as part of the fair activities, Bosnian companies will have the opportunity to present themselves at the international automotive industry fair IZB2022.

This year’s fair IZB2022 is held in the period from 11.-13.10.2022. in Wolfsburg, FR Germany. In cooperation with WOLFSBURG AG, the FBiH Chamber of Commerce ensured the presentation of 4-6 companies from Bosnia and Herzegovina, at a common stand, with a total area of 49 m2.

During the fair activities, direct B2B online meetings will be held, to which German associations such as: BME Bundesverband Materialwirtschaft und Einkauf, AHK Delegation der Deutschen Wirtschaft in Bosnien und Herzegovina, Team VDMA Außenwirtschaft (Verein Deutscher Maschinen und Anlagenbauer), Wirtschaftsverband Stahl- und Metallverarbeitung e.V., VDA Verband der Automobilindustrie, VDI Verein Deutscher Ingenieure, Berufsgenossenschaft Holz und Metall.

The IZB fair is organized every two years by Volkswagen AG for its suppliers, as well as companies that wish to obtain supplier status. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the organization of the IZB fair was not held in the past period.

On the official page of the IZB2022 fair https://www.izb-online.com/en/index.html, around 800 global companies have already registered their participation by the time of this announcement. At the last IZB2018 fair, over 838 exhibitors from over 35 countries around the world presented their achievements, while the fair was visited by over 50,000 profiled representatives of the automotive industry. This fair is an excellent opportunity for networking and presenting business activities and novelties of companies from the automotive industry.
