Adopting the Decision on the development of the Small Business Development Strategy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the period 2022-2027. In 2022, the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina initiated the process of drafting this sectoral Strategy, which should define the development policies of the small economy sector, strategic goals and priorities with a proposal for measures and activities that will contribute to the achievement of development goals.

The Federal Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts is responsible for drafting the FBiH Small Business Development Strategy, while a separate Working Body is responsible for drafting the Strategy.

The participants in the drafting process are the competent institutions of the Federation, counties and local self-government units, representatives of entrepreneurs and craftsmen, and socio-economic partners whose participation is ensured through five thematic groups made up of representatives of county governments, i.e. line ministries whose competences are related to development small business, representatives of the FBiH Chamber of Commerce, the FBiH Chamber of Crafts, employers’ associations, relevant public institutions, the non-governmental sector, the academic community, etc.

Through intensive work in the past period, a draft of the FBiH Small Business Development Strategy for the period 2022-2027 was prepared. was adopted by the Working Body for the development of the FBiH Small Economy Development Strategy, which created the conditions for the start of the public consultation process.

The realization of the development vision of the small economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be realized through three strategic goals:

Competitive small economy based on digitization and green economy
Development of the business environment and improvement of the entrepreneurial infrastructure
Innovations and internationalization of small businesses
All interested small business subjects, relevant actors and individuals are invited to participate in the process of public consultations on the draft of the Small Business Development Strategy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the period 2022-2027. years.
