A decision was made on fees for encouraging the production of electricity from renewable sources for the year 2023

The Government of the FBiH, on the proposal of the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry, adopted a Decision determining the total amount of funds, i.e. the required amount of compensation for encouraging production from renewable energy sources and efficient cogeneration, and the unit amount of compensation for encouraging the production of electricity from OIEiEK for the year 2023. This decision is in accordance with the Regulation on encouraging the production of electricity from renewable energy sources and efficient cogeneration and determining incentive fees, the Decision on granting consent to guaranteed purchase prices of electricity from plants for the use of renewable energy sources and efficient cogeneration, and the Decision of the Regulatory Commission for energy in FBiH on the reference price of electricity.

The total amount of funds, i.e. the required amount of compensation for encouraging production from renewable energy sources and efficient cogeneration in 2023, was set at 7,326,534 KM.

The unit amount of compensation for encouraging the production of electricity from renewable energy sources and efficient cogeneration for the year 2023 was set at 0.0012 KM/kWh, excluding VAT.

The fee for stimulating the production from renewable energy sources and efficient cogeneration, which is the product of the unit fee and the total calculated consumption of active electricity in kWh, is paid by all final customers of electricity in FBiH and is shown as a separate item on the electricity bill.

The funds collected on the basis of the incentive fee are the income of the OIEiEK Operator, which it disposes of and uses to pay the incentive part from the guaranteed price for the produced electricity of privileged producers, to finance the operating costs of the OIEiEK Operator and to pay the costs of balancing the power system caused by deviations in values planned and produced electricity from OIEiEK plants.
