More than eight million KM for programs of the Federal Ministry of Spatial Planning

The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has adopted three spending programs with criteria for the distribution of transfer funds determined by the Budget of the FBiH for 2023 to the Federal Ministry of Spatial Planning, in the total amount of 8,113,910 KM.

With the first program, which amounts to 2,000,000 KM, funds were secured for the project of heating buildings in order to save energy, and through ongoing transfer to other levels of government and funds.

Of this, 1,800,000 KM will be distributed after a public call, and in accordance with the general conditions of participation and special criteria for distribution determined by today’s decision, as regular funds for selected programs or projects, in the maximum individual funding value of up to 100,000 KM. Part of these funds, in the amount of 200,000 KM, will be combined with the funds of CARITAS Switzerland for the implementation of the energy efficiency project and the use of renewable energy sources in school facilities in FBiH.

The second adopted program, worth 4,113,910 KM, is intended for the prevention and repair of damage caused by floods and landslides. The distribution of these funds will be preceded by a public invitation, with the fact that the individual value of financing for one selected project or program can be in the amount of up to 300,000 KM.

The third program envisages that 2,000,000 KM will be allocated through capital transfer to other levels of government and funds, that is, the participation of the FBiH Government in the co-financing of cantonal and local communities in the protection of national monuments.

The selection of beneficiaries of these funds will be determined on the basis of a public call, and in the maximum amount of 100,000 KM per selected program/project.

For all programs, there are general participation conditions that applicants must meet in order to be able to apply for the allocation of budget funds, as well as special criteria for the allocation of funds.

With the aim of accessibility to the widest public, the Federal Ministry of Spatial Planning will publish public calls for the allocation of funds from all three programs on its official website, in the Official Gazette of FBiH and at least one daily newspaper.
